>>We were farmers...On a sunny Tuesday, pupils from Clin cycle 2 visited a farm. What did they do ?
It was a very busy day. But let’s them write...
The munge heap is smelling bad but it’s natural and essential for soil.
Hou...la gadoue....(it means mud from a song we sang recently in French)
Hidetoshi is proud to show you what his team had found
I searched animals in the soil. I walked in the mud. I made a hole and saw one beetle and a white worm. I don’t like these insects. Hidetoshi
Mei used a rake.
In the garden, I took off weeds and made a hole to free insects we had caught before.Alinoé
Max is sowing corn.
I caught a big slug and a worm. Then I sowed corn in the garden and watered it . Maxime
Milking is easy for Hinata.
I liked milking. I was not afraid of the cow. I pressed two teats at the same time which is not easy to do but I had never done this before. Hinata
An apple tree is different from....
...a pear tree.
After a nice snack offered by the lady, she showed us the orchard and talked about plants and herbs.
Can you see what’s different between a buttercup and a greater celandine ?
What were your feelings after that visit ?
Oops...what a big baby !!!
The lady showed us chickens, ducks, rabbits and a turkey. We could touch them. Then she brought different eggs. The biggest one was from a goose. I am very happy because I like to touch furs of rabbits and feathers of chicken. Hidetoshi
Maxime can milk like a farmer.
It was very good to see animals. I like to watch them. Maxime
Mei caught a chicken.
I liked to see the animals because I like animals and I like digging the soil and planting seeds. Mei
What a great playtime in high weeds !!
At playtime, I played hide and seek. It was funny because I was hiding in big plants. Alinoé
Oh no ! it’s time to go....
But good times come to an end too and children were tired but delighted.... Do you want to see the animals we’ve watched or touched ? see the document below |
