A picture of us on the plane going to Sweden
The first city we visited was Stockholm (the capital city ) where we went to the History Museum. In the museum we went through time ! We could try some activities like shooting arrows or baking bread... ![]() We made bread the old way, it was nice ! ![]() Do you know the legend of the Eagle we were told ?We were given a pebble and had to walk all the way round the maze holding it in one hand. When we reached the centre of the maze we were supposed to make a wish by the statue of the golden eagle, without looking at the stone. Then we had to put the pebble in the other hand and walk all the way back. Once home, you put the pebble on your window sill and the eagle will come and get it and make your wish come true... ![]() Outside the palace in Stockholm. ![]() We also visited the palace in Stockholm were we went to the treasury-vault to see all the crowns and jewellery.
Not the British horseguards in Sweden !
The façade of the Palace...
People gathered to watch the parade...
![]() We also went to look at a pirate ship that was used in the movie "Pirates of the Carribean".
Do you think Jack Sparrow is going to appear ?
![]() We visited the town called Nusnas which is famous for its Dala-horses ![]() We could also paint our own little Dala-horse ! ![]() Inside the building where they made the horses, we could see a huge collection of Dala-horses in all the colours and sizes that you can dream of ! And finally... this was at the future museum... ![]() We had to make enough electricity by pedalling to see a little part of a movie... Nora and Elisabeth ![]() And finally, would you have enjoyed a dance around this pole to celebrate the arrival of Summer ? |
